Having a comprehensive, thoughtful, long range plan is an excellent place to start. By combining your goals with the reality of how forests grow and function, you will be able to make the most of your property and facilitate turning your ideas into reality.
We offer state certified Forest Stewardship Planning. Having a forest stewardship
plan registered with the state makes you eligible to receive cost-share funds for
certain forest management activities such as tree planting, timber stand improvement,
plantation protection, and more. In addition, having a professional plan is required
to enroll in the Sustainable Forest Incentives Act and to change your tax classification
to 2c "Managed Forest".
