Buckthorn is a nasty invasive species, but it does have an “Achilles heel”; its leaves stay green well past the time other woody plants have lost their leaves. This makes it easy to identify them on the ground and from the air. Using drone video footage we can quickly isolate the biggest problem areas, making it easier for ground crews to quickly target the areas that are most heavily infested, saving time and money!

There’s a lot of publicly available satellite imagery available these days, but most of the time you can’t find anything that isn’t at least a couple of years old. That’s just not good enough when you need to make management decisions for your woods in its current condition. We provide videos and still shots of your property that are current, relevant, and useful for informing management decisions and even hunting strategies. A bird’s eye view will enhance your appreciation and understanding of your woods and the wildlife that uses them. Drone imagery can be a great tool for first detection and assessment of storm damage or insect and disease infestations. Assessing the severity and spatial extent of any damage is much quicker, easier, and safer using drone technology.
