Emerald Ash Borer Found in Cass County
Since this is the first time EAB has been identified in Cass County, the Department of Agriculture instituted a standard emergency quarantine. This limits the movement of firewood and ash material out of the area to reduce the risk of spread.

Stewardship Plans Are More Affordable
When your Stewardship Plan is written and sent to you, it’s not quite as simple as completing the SFIA or 2c enrollment processes to receive your financial benefits. Your plan must be registered with the DNR in order to be enrolled in any financial incentive programs.

This is a great program for larger properties or those with low tax values. There are 3 different minimum enrollment periods (8, 20, and 50 years), with higher payments for longer enrollment periods.
