When your Stewardship Plan is written and sent to you, it’s not quite as simple as completing the SFIA or 2c enrollment processes to receive your financial benefits. Your plan must be registered with the DNR in order to be enrolled in any financial incentive programs.

This is a great program for larger properties or those with low tax values.  There are 3 different minimum enrollment periods (8, 20, and 50 years), with higher payments for longer enrollment periods.

This classification taxes your property at a 35% reduction from the more common "Rural Vacant Land" classification.  It's a must or anyone who owns woodland acreage in Minnesota!
