Megan Wells

Private Consulting Forester

Megan joined the Itasca Woodland Services team in August 2025 as a Private Consulting Forester. She holds a B.S. in Forest and Rangeland Stewardship from Colorado State University (Class of 2024) and has been managing Northern Minnesota forests since early 2025—initially with the Natural Resource Conservation Service before transitioning to IWS.

As a consulting forester, Megan partners with private landowners to help them better understand their woodlands. She specializes in crafting tailored management plans that blend sound forestry techniques with each owner's unique goals. Megan deeply values the opportunity to connect with landowners and foster a lifelong stewardship ethic.

Outside of work, you can find her hiking, camping, reading, or tending to her garden.
